4 stars NIV Dramatized Complete Audio Bible
Overall, I was quite satisfied and even impressed with this product. I purchased it in order to load my MP3 player & hence to listen to on the plane, train or even just before I go to sleep. Initially, I found that I had a task ahead of me to download 64(!) files; though, even with the optimum (64kbits/sec) version, distributed over several evenings, this was not a real problem. What I particularly liked was an introduction to each of the 66 books and an excellent introduction to the Bible itself. The dramatization was quite good. The only (very minor) downside was that some files varied in volume; i.e., when finishing part n, say, part n+1 started off a little softer & continued so. Once again, considering the very agreeable price as well, I would highly endorese the NIV Dramatized Complete Audio Bible, and encourage Christians seeking different formats of the (NIV) Bible to purchase this product.

Overall I found this to be is a very powerful recording, it's heartfelt and strong. Above all conveys excitement and conviction which sweeps the listener into the word of God.

The product itself is good as stated by the other reviewers, but the "packaging" is poor: the .wma files are copy right protected with Microsoft technology, which means it will work with only half of the devices you might have and each file is is an hour long, uncut, which means you can't go directly to the place you want. Editor's note: The file format is as the Publisher requires, and is shown in the audio description, and at the Checkout pre-purchase. It will play on a PC, sync directly to a wma DRM compatible device, such as the Creative we show as an example, and many others, and burn to audio CD's. The Bible is supplied with a pdf tracklist, enabling users to identify the file containing the desired passages, and go straight to it.
